Our Insurance Law Service has been providing free, specialist legal advice nationally for consumers dealing with insurance disputes since 2007. Insurance plays a key role in enable Australians to get back on their feet after negative events, whether caused by extreme weather, accidents, illness or death of a loved one. When insurance works as expected, it can put people on the path to recovery. When things go wrong, people who are often already traumatised are ill-equipped to understand or assert their legal rights.
